For far too long, period products such as tampons have been marketed to the ultra-stereotypical feminine type, often decorated with graphics in pink or purple with delicate, silky fonts. These products are also relegated to the back in the women's healthcare section in large, crinkly, plastic packaging. But, today, our world is filled with uterus-owners who are looking for a more discreet option, while not being hidden away. A more gender-neutral option that works to make this natural, bodily function a statement of fact to the world, rather than an exclamation. And an option that is available to whomever may need it, wherever they go.

OATH aims to be the period product for everyone, everywhere through its muted color palette, sleek, travel-sized design, easy to understand size labeling, and natural product materials. Each stream-lined OATH package of 12 tampons is resealable and reusable making it the perfect item to pick up near the store's checkout counter and throw into a handbag. The variation in color, graphics, and lettering on each tampons makes size identification easy and free of complicated patterns and hidden size markers.

OATH's package design was created using Abode Illustrator and laser cut on Bristol board. OATH's package graphics were also created using Abode Illustrator. Inspiration sketches are made of cardstock.
